The Director of Rural Health Clinics is responsible for the direction and leadership to ensure PDH meets the goals of achieving high quality outcomes within an efficient cost structure, ensuring a positive patient experience and access to care while improving the work environment for providers and staff. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives while maintaining alignment with the strategic goals and objectives for PDH. While the range of duties and responsibilities is broad and varied, the position’s major responsibility is directing operations, budgeting, financial management, and human resource management. The Director works closely with a variety of stakeholders, coordinating the activities of rural health clinic operations across the organization to include medical and dental services.
The Director of Rural Health Clinics is also responsible for nursing practice oversight by organizing and leading the delivery of nursing care for designated patient care areas. This includes: analyzing clinical practice and identify opportunities to increase quality, safety, effectiveness and efficiency within primary and specialty care; identifying clinical indicators to measure, evaluate and improve care; maintaining compliance with all clinical policies, procedures and regulations; supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare providers who deliver nursing care.

A sign-on bonus is being offered in the amount of $10,000.00 to the successful incumbent for this position when hired in a full time employment status, subject to the terms of the agreement.
New hires who accept part-time benefited employment status in this role will be offered a pro-rated sign on bonus.
Employees hired in this role in a per diem employment status are ineligible for sign on bonuses.
