Nature and Scope

Serves to assist in providing age-appropriate services for adolscent, adult and geriatric patients, under appropriate licensed supervision, to individuals, evaluation and selection of adaptive equipment, partiicipatin in quality improvement programs, and documentation of services according to hospital and departmnet standards. Provides administrative support as needed. Responsible for cleaning therapy treatment areas and equipemnt, Maintain appropriate levels of supplies. 

 

Location

We are located 2077 E. Main Street Quincy, CA 95971 and 127 Crescent St C, Greenville, CA 95947. You will be traveling between both offices. 

 

Compensation

Compensation Philosophy: We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience

Compensation Range: $16.21 - $23.23 / hour 

 

Job Status / Shift Information

Full-time and weekdays 

 

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or GED

Experience

Two or more years’ experience in a patient care setting as a technician, certified nursing assistant, or a restorative nursing aide. On the job training. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Ability to establish priorities , ability to recognize physical or behavioral changes in patient during course of treatment, ability to use, inspect, and maintain clinical equipment, knowledge of purpose, expected outcome, and safety factors involved in the care provided, knowledge of infection control practices, knowledge of and use of all office equipment, and knowledge of medical terminology and some medical pathology.

 

Must meet physical requirements as stated on job description addendum

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist with set up of modalities as directed by Therapist
  • Reports significant findings, potential problems and changes in condition to Therapist in a timely manner.
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area, cleans and maintains equipment per policy and procedure.
  • Responds to emergency situations in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Removes and reports malfunctioning equipment.
