The DON will play a pivotal role in upholding the highest standards of care delivery. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of nursing services, ensuring adherence to regulations, fostering a culture of excellence, and promoting a collaborative environment among the healthcare team. DON manages and/or leads the nursing department to meet legal, organizational, and medical staff guidelines in order that optimum health care delivery may be implemented. Organize, direct, plan, assess, implement, and lead the nursing services of the Plumas District Hospital including nursing facility.

Compensation Philosophy: We have 13 pay increments on our clinical pay scales to compensate successful candidate for 30 years of relevant experience

Compensation Range: $59.75 - $85.19 / hour

Sign on Bonus: $10,000.00

Housing Stipend: We provide three months of paid housing or $1,200.00 / month housing stipend for the first three months of employment

• Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centered care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing practices, outcomes, and processes to maintain standards and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement professional development plans for nursing staff, encouraging ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Stay abreast of federal, state, and local regulations impacting nursing practices and ensure the facility's compliance with all applicable laws.
