We are looking for highly organized candidates with great attention to detail for the position of data coordinator. Data coordinators are responsible for transforming and transferring data upon request, translating data into different languages, and adhering to legal and regulatory standards, among other duties.
Responsibilities include running data queries, maintaining data integrity and security, and ensuring the proper sorting and organizing of databases.
The data coordinator is responsible for supporting management in process improvement utilizing data to drive quality and organizational efficiencies. The coordinator will work closely with the clinical informaticist and management team members to identify gaps, promote best practice and develop workflow changes to enhance data collection and support attainment of organizational goals.
The data coordinator should exhibit extensive knowledge of data analysis techniques and experience in a similar role. Their reliable expertise will be utilized for reporting for National and State quality goals as well as other organizational goals.
Required experience: Active California RN license, 7 years experience in chronic care management or hospital-based patient care, and 3 years experience in informatics or quality. Experience with quality reporting such as Meaningful Use, HEDIS or other national quality data reporting.
Preferred experience: Experience with database administration, and proficiency with database languages such as SQL.
Required education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
Preferred education: Bachelor's degree or certification in Information Systems, quality or related field.
