Provides professional nursing skills in an outpatient clinic setting, emphasizing disease prevention and health maintenance.  Works closely with the clinical staff, front office staff and other related departments to support the patient and family needs.

Required Education:  Graduate from an approved Licensed Vocational Nursing program with an associates or equivalent degree.  Current California LVN license or interim permit for LVN.  Current CPR certification.

Experience: 2 Years of clinical experience preferred. Use of electronic medical record preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to apply good clinical judgment, plan work, establish priorities and maintain flexibility.  Proficient written and verbal skills.  Ability to instruct and teach. Ability to use a computer proficiently.
